2. Welcome to Adelaide Education Attractions
Adelaide Education Attractions aims to assist both primary and secondary school
teachers with planning exciting and varied excursions to the City. This guide lists
a range of interesting and educational places for school groups to visit. The guide
includes the City’s major attractions as well as profiling some of the lesser known
and unique educational sites that Adelaide has to offer.
How do I use this Guide?
Attractions are listed alphabetically, so if you are looking for information on a
particular place, you can access it directly. Alternatively, you might like to use the
guide as a source of ideas by browsing through to get an idea of the vast number
of places to visit in the Central Business District (CBD).
Each listing gives a brief general overview of the place, location details including
a map coordinate, opening hours, website address, contact details, any tours that
are offered and potential curriculum links.
We hope that you enjoy your time in the City and, with the help of Adelaide
Education Attractions, discover something new during your visit.
To obtain additional copies of this guide, contact the Community Project
Coordinator on (08) 8203 7990.
