Work as team member in the design department of the Office of Communication with editorial, web,
marketing teams to help advance the mission of the university through education, health care and
community enrichment; and to maintain the university brand integrity. Design work from concept to
publish, as well as working within the guidelines of pre-established institutional campaigns. Liaison
to outside agencies to maintain consistency of the Stony Brook University brand image of all of
their organizations such as the Hospital, Cancer Centers, Stony Brook Manhattan, Division I athletics,

• Director of photography: Responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image or
media, locally or via telecommunications

• Supervise press checks, review proofs and color keys
• Collaborate with editors on identifying key alumni for the Foundations Office for friend and fundraising,
interview with editor, participate in content creation for magazine, newspaper, all media outlets

Designed the 36-page monthly tabloid, Currents, focused on campus news, research, and events.
Redesigned the Alumni Magazine to target the alumni interest as a vehicle for fundraising to update the
alum on the news and events about Stony Brook University. Restructured the information into departments
and features that highlighted alumni, feature stories, and to friend-raise for the University.

Adult Children With Learning Disabilities Bethpage NY, Counselor; Assisted individuals with
independent living skills. Responsible for maintaining the group home, helping with cleaning, cooking,
laundry, shopping, and transporting residents to events, doctors appointments. AMAP certified to administer
medication to residents and track health related issues. SKIP trained for self-defense to de-escalate
dangerous situtations to clients and others.
Usdan camp for Arts and Performing Arts, Wheatley Heights NY, Teaching Assistant; Worked as
teaching assistant for drawing and painting classes to children ages eight to seventeen at arts camp for
gifted children. Responsible for organizing and presenting students work in camp art gallery

during her fight with colon cancer. The works are a commentary about our conciousness—awareness of
our envirornment, people, and things around us; it uses trees and nature as a metaphor for how we are
disconnected; the tree is used as a symbol of connection to life and well being.

made commecrcial discarded litter—soda and beer cans stapled to the top of lumber to recreate my walk
inside the gallery and create consciousness about our environment and how we treat our neighborhoods

• Loving is Giving Events, volunteered with spiritual organization to help enrich the communities, in
programs such as Ronald McDonald House, delivering food and toiletries to help the homeless, holiday
party at Covenant House for kids
• Calibrase Nursing Home Holiday party in NYC; assisted in creating party for residents of the nursing
home for Christmas.
• Charity runs and walks with New York Road Runner club, March of Dimes Walk to prevent birth
defects, AIDS Walk NY, assist friend in designing Temple Bulletin.
Traveled to most of the 48 connected United State of America and Hawai; Spain, France, Italy,
Germany, Bermuda. Finisher of the MORE Woman’s Half marathon 2013 and NYC ING marathon
2009 and raised funds for Spirituality For Kids (SFK).

Finger prints on file. • Loving is Giving Events, volunteered with spiritual organization to help enrich the communities, in programs such as Ronald McDonald House, delivering food and toiletries to help the homeless, holiday party at Covenant House for kids • Calibrase Nursing Home Holiday party in NYC; assisted in creating party for residents of the nursing home for Christmas. • Charity runs and walks with New York Road Runner club, March of Dimes Walk to prevent birth defects, AIDS Walk NY, assist friend in designing Temple Bulletin. Traveled to most of the 48 connected United State of America and Hawai; Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Bermuda. Finisher of the MORE Woman’s Half marathon 2013 and NYC ING marathon 2009 and raised funds for Spirituality For Kids (SFK).
