2.  Kim Reed Perell is an accomplished entrepreneur and
executive with leadership experience in digital
advertising and marketing technology. Apart from her
career endeavors, Kim Reed Perell is a longtime
supporter of the Special Olympics.
The Special Olympics recently announced a
partnership with Solstice Sunglasses that will see the
retailer place a window seal in all of its locations and
publish a Special Olympics branded area of its website
to show its support for the organization.
Since 2003, Solstice has provided eyewear to Special
Olympians.

3.  The company recently reinforced its commitment to the
organization by pledging donations of 160,000 pairs of glasses
each year for the next two years. Safilo Group, which owns
Solstice Sunglasses, has also been a longtime supporter of
the Opening Eyes program - a Special Olympics initiative
aimed at making sure people with intellectual disabilities have
access to vision care.
Opening Eyes has been able to provide vision screenings and
eyewear to athletes and others in need throughout 80
countries since 1997. The renewed partnership between the
Special Olympics and Solstice Sunglasses/Safilo Group will
ensure this program continues to do so for years to come.
