  5. 5. Design Thinking,
in a nutshell Design Thinking (DT) a methodology human centered, that allows to quickly transform ideas into tangible prototypes that users can test and challenge. Facilitated as workshops, Design Thinking is bringing multi-disciplinary and diverse team to co-create solutions to solve specific challenge. Through a planned sequence of phases and activities, that is mixing creativity, ideation, visual management, storytelling, sustainability and many other things, Design Thinking provides to everybody the tooling to answer to many human complex problems.
  6. 6. A mindset, that goes against the industry traditions. Whatever the challenge can be, the goal is always to deliver: a service, a product, a process, an experience. And the aim is to build something that is both desirable, sustainable, and technically feasible… No disruptive innovation, No techno push.

  14. 14. • In duo, interview each other 5 min each, telling your personal experience about the challenge. • Don’t limit yourself to a description, instead go for feelings, stories, how you experienced it before during, and after. • LISTEN and note a lot, ask often WHY, look for pain points. Instructions INTERVIEWS DUO IMMERSION
  15. 15. 16 PER GROUP, SHARE DUOS/TRIOS PAIN POINTS. GROUP AND CATEGORIZE THEM. DISCUSS ABOUT THEM. BUT IN THE END, YOU’LL HAVE TO PICK UP ONLY ONE THAT WILL LAST FOR THE WHOLE GROUP. YOU HAVE 5 MIN. NOW.
  16. 16. INSIGHTS • Per duo / trio, few minutes to look at your notes together and select the best pain point for your duo/trio. Write it down on a post-it in a short sentence (illustrations welcomed!) 💥 Instructions IMMERSION

  27. 27. A few words here… A picture worth a thousand words. Then a prototype worth a thousand pictures. Or as IDEO historic design thinking agency says, the one in the meeting who have the prototypes wins. It’s time to craft something real, that will be a vehicule to interact with users, in an extremely fast fashion. So you can test, fail and iterate such like in lean startup, to derisk your aim to produce something in the sweetspot of user desirabilty, tech feasibility and economic sustainablity. List hypothesis you have and listen up to the user. OUTCOMES 1. Clear value proposition 2. A shitty fancy prototype 3. A 2 min pitch of your solution Instructions PROTOTYPING

  31. 31. • Create a statement that is broad enough that there are a wide range of solutions but narrow enough that the team has some helpful boundaries. For example, between the too narrow “HMW create a cone to eat ice cream without dripping” and the too broad “HMW redesign dessert” might be the properly scoped “HMW redesign ice cream to be more portable.” • Source : D.School Stanford Ask the right question _ _ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ HOW MIGHT WE ?IMMERSION How might we…

Prepare a speech for each of the four parties opposite and repeat with your team (this is the key to a pitch well understood). Your pitch must be short and concise! THE MARTIAN PITCHTEST
