an underground civil defence station known as Tampines West Station together
with two circular shafts and a series of twin bored tunnels of approximately 2.88
km linking up the two shafts and Tampines West Station under Contract C926
Downtown Line Stage 3 (DTL3) which is part of the Downtown Line MRT system.
My duties and responsibilities are:
Responsible that the Quality System is implemented in the project site
Responsible that quality requirements are met at the site, the Quality
System is working correctly and any needed corrective actions are applied
Verifying quality related site activities are in compliance to the regulations
and standards
Responsible for the acquisition of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS
18001 Certificates
Responsible for Non-Compliance Notice (NCN) and Non Conformance
Report (NCR), remedial actions undertaken and satisfactorily closure of
NCNs and NCRs by the responsible managers
Previously was working as Quality Assurance and Safety Management Manager
for Fokker Services Asia Pte Ltd. Fokker Services Asia Pte Ltd is an aircraft
(Fokker series and ATR series) heavy maintenance MRO and Component MRO. As
a Quality Assurance and Safety Management Manager, I manage the Quality
System and Safety Management System, ensuring the organization is in
compliance to Civil Aviation Regulatory requirements and government regulatory
requirements and standards. Responsible for quality and safety assurance
programs, policies, processes, continuous review and updating of Company
Exposition Manuals, managing the training requirements of aircraft and
component Certifying staff, B1.1 & B2 Support Staff and issuance of company
authorisation.
My responsibility in Fokker Services Asia Pte Ltd also include the acquisition of
different States Approved Maintenance Organization Certificates and maintaining
nine Approval Certificates in the company namely EASA, FAA, CASA Australia,
CASA PNG, GACA, Indonesia DGCA, Vietnam, Myanmar and AS91000C.
My achievements in Fokker Services Asia Pte Ltd were transitioned from CASA
Australia CAR 30 Approval to CASR Part 145 Approval; relocation of Fokker
Services Asia Pte Ltd to a new MRO facility in Seletar Aerospace Park, making it
to operational status and inviting all the respective Civil Aviation Authorities for
inspection and approval of the new MRO facility in order to continue our aircraft
and component MRO business. In addition, grew the company from 40 staff to
above 120 staff, increased the pool of licensed engineers from 4 to 10, implement
continuous improvement, LEAN, Voluntary Reporting System throughout the
organization.
