4. INCENTIVES FOR MENTOR PARTICIPATION
Mentors may:
• Receive credit toward attaining subcontracting goals contained in their DHS Subcontracting
plan. (HSAR 3052-219-71) as prescribed in (HSAR) 48 CFR 3019.708-70(b)
• Receive additional evaluation points toward the award of contracts during evaluation of
competitive offers. (HSAR 3052-219-72) as prescribed in (HSAR) 48 CFR 3019.708-70(c)
• Be eligible for an annual award presented to the Mentor and Protégé for most effective
team and developmental assistance effort.
