The Good Guys | Social Media Coordinator
2014 - Present
In this role I manage The Good Guys’ social media platforms including
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+. Working with the Public
Relations and Cause team, I have created ‘thumb-stopping’ artwork for
social media channels but also driven conversations with our fans,
upholding a 10 minute service level agreement with our 350,000
Facebook followers and over 1500 followers on Instagram. Since
designing for social media, I have become more agile in creating content
in relation to new products, business objectives and social trends, which
often requires meeting tight deadlines with a consistent brand voice. My
notable achievements in this role have been:
• Marvel Christmas Campaign – Leading a successful relationship with the
Disney Corporation to execute a Christmas campaign across Facebook,
Twitter and Instagram around the Marvel franchise. The campaign had a
reach of over 2 million fans with a total of 17,300 interactions.
• The Block Partnership Campaign – As a major partner with Channel 9, I
managed the social media campaign for The Block The Glasshouse, Fans
vs Faves and Triple Threat. The Triple Threat campaign had a reach of
over 1.3 million fans on Facebook alone. I was also responsible for
product photography inside The Block for these campaigns.
• I have been invited to Facebook and Instagram Open House events.
Here, Facebook share best practices and trends on social media for
industry professionals.
The Good Guys | Merchandise Coordinator
2012 - 2014
This role required me to work closely with the Category Manager to
execute national marketing campaigns (Online and print) and sales
strategies. This included managing a product category through its
life-cycle as well as maintaining and developing visual merchandising
principles for the Techzone category in Australia and New Zealand. Other
duties included communicating national strategy to over 100 stores and
motivating them to execute best practice in the category. My notable
achievements in this role have been:
• Playing an integral part in building the online store by creating content
for product pages including sourcing photographs, lifestyle imagery,
copy-writing and testing user experience.
• Briefing creative teams on catalogue layouts applying a strong attention
to detail to ensure the clear and concise product information, appropriate
imagery and branding, both internally and partnered suppliers.
• Managing the Apple relationship and developing a ‘store in a store’
concept and ensuring compliance with marketing print and online
standards. I led the design process with Apple, creating a new concept for
ticketing which has been implemented nationally.

YD Pty Ltd | Store Manager - Greensborough and Broadmeadows
2012
After relocating to Melbourne, I took a break from design to gain skills in
management and see a change of pace in the fashion industry. I took
pride in exceeding the expectations of my colleagues and customers by
executing world-class displays and innovative stock presentations. During
my tenure, I managed two stores: Greensborough and Broadmeadows.
My notable achievements in this role were:
• Developed a behaviour based management style, focusing on coaching
positive and sustainable selling behaviours to achieve long term results
whilst retaining a energetic sales culture.
• Coaching and mentoring a young and diverse sales team to achieve the
organisation’s goals.
• After bringing a store that was operating at a loss to a profitable store, I
was asked to be store manager of a larger store where I successfully
increased revenue and profitability over a four month period.
The Good Guys Helensvale | Various Roles
2009 - 2012
In my tenure at the Helensvale store I have worked in several
capacities: Administration (Supervisor, as required), Commercial
Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Cooking Sales Consultant. I have a
deep understanding of other store level operations as well, including SOP
compliance, local area marketing strategies and database/client
management. My notable achievements in this role have been:
• Developed in-store campaigns for Flexiway lease pricing strategy,
extended warranty protection plans and school children tax benefit. I
designed posters, ticketing, digital content and window displays.
• Developed advertising collateral for our commercial sales campaigns
and
major sales events (VIP, Birthday Sale, Christmas) to drive brand
awareness and revenue.
• Worked with local radio to coordinate sale events when broadcasting live
from the store.

would run small print jobs in house and liaise with offset printing

Photography and Styling for Instagram Workshop
A network of industry professionals gathered to share best practice when
styling photography shoots for Instagram. Hosted by a renowned
Melbourne food photographer, I learned how photographers make the
most of the small amount of space available on Instagram.
