2. Here I tried M. Graham oil paint for the very first time. From the first
to the last stroke the flow and color intensity was superior to
anything else I had ever used. What will I think by the end?
3. I did my usual rough sketch in paint then started massing in the
darks first …
5. Next, building the main architecture experimenting a little early with
minor details. Just could not wait to get to the fun part!
6. On with dropping in the left side architecture street and focal point
fencing of this scene on Claude Monet Street, Giverny, France.
7. Further developing all other areas such as distant fencing, flowering
bush and pillar/fence on right. I made sure all sun-washed areas were
consistently positioned even though this is a painterly treatment.
8. The finished painting. Oh my goodness. From start to finish painting
with M. Graham oils was a wonderful experience. I will be using them
for a long time to come…

This is NOT an advertisement for M.
Graham paints. Rather, it is just my
way of showing you they are worth
trying if you are seeking a new paint.
It is made with Walnut oil which is all I
used to carry the paint
and clean my brushes.
