11. Testimonials
“This has been my second year participating in Queendom T.E.A and it
has taught me a lot about being a lady. It has also given me the
opportunity to interact with other girls from different backgrounds. This
program is something every girl should be exposed to. I believe that it
has changed the way participants look at life. Mrs. Hall is a positive
female role model that many need. It was fun and informative! “
~Danecha, 2008 First Crown & 2009 Rising Rhinestone
"LaQuisha Hall and her Queendom T.E.A. girls are
wonderful. I had the opportunity to sit down with LaQuisha
and her girls and conduct a workshop. I got a chance to get
to know LaQuisha and experience first hand the
transformation of the girls involved in Queendom
T.E.A. LaQuisha is a wonderful role model and example of
thriving after trauma, and being all that you can be. This is a
vital program that needs to be supported and expanded.”

12. Testimonials
“I had an awesome experience! This experience opened my eyes;
it is a lot more involved than I thought it would be. In a short
amount of time, I saw the change in the girls. The girls
appreciated me and I was able to successfully develop a repoire
with them. I am an elementary school teacher. This experience
showed me that teens want a relationship with a mentor—teens
are just as clingy! Queendom T.E.A made me feel needed and
important as a volunteer. I feel like I was a part of something that I
truly enjoyed!”
~ Mrs. Latesha Blue, 2008-2009 Volunteer & 2011-2013 Mentor
"Coming from the heart: I love Queendom! It has shown me
how to be a young lady and deal with my problems in more
ways than one. I look up to the women that help us and hope
that I can be in their shoes one day too. Queendom is a
backbone for most young ladies. It teaches you to be
confident and love yourself no matter what others think. I
have been with Queendom for three years and I hope to
become a mentor in my freshmen year of college. I want
every young lady to have the pleasure of having someone in
their life that can make a difference like I have had.“
