2. Objective
Understand how countries
around the world use power:
• Correlation between fossil
fuels with carbon emission
level
• Adoption of Renewable
Energy
• Production Battery Metals
3. Percentage of Power Source
• The majority of power sources are Oils, Natural Gas and Coal
• However, we can see that many Western countries use Nuclear Power to
provide energy while other small countries like Vietnam, Peru etc. started to
adopt Renewable Energy.
4. Correlation between Fossil Fuel and CO2 emission
• There is no double that China,
USA and India are releasing the
most CO2 amount, they are also
more fuel than any other
countries in the world.
• Interestingly, developed
countries release more CO2 than
poor countries. This is opposite
to what they claimed that the
developing countries are mainly
responsible for Global Warning
due to their economics activities
do not take environment into
consideration.
5. Fossil Fuels usage
Through the years, oil still the most fossil fuel consumed, especially from
2004 where we can witness the increase in the consumption.
6. Renewable Energy
In this part, we will examine how
the world consumes and produces
Green Energies.
8. Renewable Energy
The countries consume the most amount energy is also
generating the most renewable energies, and Asia is
leading the world in Green Energy field
9. Renewable Sources capacity
• Except from Japan,
All the other countries
get most of
renewable energy
from Wind.
• China has the total
amount of Wind
Power generation
equal the whole
Europe countries
combined.
10. Battery Metals
• It is estimate that 2025, the
needs for Battery Metals
(Lithium, Cobalts, Graphite,
Rare Earths) demand will
increase by tenfold as electric
cars, drones and other
technologies more popular.
• It is worth to exam the
production of these mineral as
who produce the most will
have most benefits from the
market
11. Rare Earth
Rare Earth and Graphite are mined the most from China (approximate 70% of the
world). While Australia and Congo the provides the most Lithium and Cobalt.
12. Further Improvement
• The dataset is not large enough to
implement any prediction.
• Data about Energy Trade could help
us explore further the current state of
the World.
• Data still miss in some countries
