style of game as it is a dance game and is a game that families will play or the game could be a
party game which makes it look friendly. Furthermore due to how colourful the art looks the
game could be targeted at a younger target audience such as children. The aim of the game is
to dance to many different songs that are in the game and try and get the best score, you can
unlock songs depending on the score that you get which can give you points to unlock songs.
The player can unlock different avatars which act as a profile picture for their account on the

copies the dance move they will score points.
Modes of Address- The game communicates with all of the players by giving them feedback
after they have finished a song as it tells them about how good their dancing was it also ells
them what moves they need to improve on and what they missed.
3. A common code that The Last Of Us and Just Dance 2014 have in common could be
that they both have human people in both games as the two protagonists in The Last Of
Us are Human, and all of the people in Just Dance 2014 are human people.
Another similarity and a common code that both of the games have in common could
be that both have single player and online modes, the online mode allowing people to
compete against each other, the single player being that it is a single experience which
only one person can play.
4. Genre - Action-adventure, survival horror video game.
Content – The Last Of Us box art gets straight to the point and just by the cover art as it shows
the two main protagonists of the game and the overall setting of the game looks very serious.
As we can see by the environment it makes the game look post apocalyptic and tells the
person that is viewing the box art what type of game this is and to what the story is about, it
makes the person looking at it speculate what is going on. Furthermore due to the cover art of
The Last Of Us you can tell what kind of audience this game is directed at, it is clearly directed
at a mature audience as the characters both have weapons which indicate violence.
Narrative Conventions- This game is a story driven game and has a very strong narrative as
the player gets attached to many different characters and can make decisions to alter the story
slightly. The game has infected people which sometimes the player has to run away from
rather than fight, which makes this game a survival horror.
Construction – The construction of this game is based on the story, although it does have good
gameplay the player has to pay close attention to what is going on in the story to understand it
and get attached to the characters, the player has to make their way through the level, fighting
or hiding from the infected.
Modes of Address – This game addresses the player by allowing them to control and make
decisions in the story effecting the outcome and can change different things that can happen
in the story line.
