President Trump unveils his infrastructure plan today. The White House will propose $200B in federal spending over the next decade, to spur $1.5T in new infrastructure investments. It’s part of Trump’s 2019 budget.
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is suing the Weinstein Company and founders Harvey and Bob Weinstein for sexual harassment, a hostile work environment, and other “egregious violations” of New York laws. The suit was filed as the company was due to be sold; that sale has since fallen apart, reports The Wall Street Journal.
OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma will stop marketing opioids to doctors. While its opioid products will still be sold, the company will no longer send representatives to doctors’ offices to discuss them. Purdue is also cutting its US sales force by more than half.
