D.O.5 Hispanobodegas was created as an enterprise based on the idea of collectively offering the products of Spain’s most emblematic Officially Certified Winegrowing Regions (Denominaciones de Origen): Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Rueda which together represent arround 30% of the officially certified wine produced in Spain. This means we can guarantee a flexible, diverse and prestigious portfolio with respect to the origins of our wines.

CLIMATE: Continental climate, isolated from the
northern Spain winds by the Cantabrian
Mountains.
VINEYARDS: 80 ha. contracted vineyard in small
plots. 25-40 years old plots with calcareous clay
soil and sandy loam soils and in alluvial pebble
clay – calcareous soils over 40 years old for our
most emblematic wines. altitude ranging from
430 to 700 meters.

Colour: Cherry red colour with violet hues.
Nose: Intense and complex aromas, combined with hints of
ripe red fruit well harmonized with balsamic and roasted
touches due to a careful aging, reaching an aromatic
ensemble very balanced and full of frankness.
Palate: Sweet and meaty on the entry, with sweet and well
structured tannins that result an harmonious and embraced
mouth feeling. Lingering finish with aftertaste of toffee
consequence of its time in oak.

of ripe fruit and mineral essences. The oak used for the
ageing it is perfectly integrated in the wine.
Palate: Pleasant, velvety and balsamic ripe red fruit feeling
along with elegant ripe tannins that are rounded and
perfectly integrated. Flavorful finish and nice long
aftertaste.
