see? What two galleries or museums should I visit? Do they

1 Safety details : Is crime a problem in the city? What

should avoid during the day / at night?
The city is quite safe, you shouldn’t have a
problem when walking around; however, be
careful and watch your belongings at the
beach. There are some thieves waiting for
you to go for a swim, so you should leave
anything of value at home!

2 Getting around: What's the best way to get around
the city? Is it OK to take taxis? Are there many taxi
ranks? Can I hire a bicycle? Is it a good city for
cycling?
These types of questions will help the reader to begin
to form a picture in their mind as to what the place is
like.
Ibiza is quite small so the best way to get around
is by car. You can also rent a bicycle, just bear in
mind the hot weather as it can get really hot.
Above all, avoid taking taxis, which are really
expensive here on the island.

3 Sightseeing: If I'm short of time, what three sights
should I see? What two galleries or museums should
I visit? Do they charge for admission?
The beaches, as well as some very famous clubs,
are a must see on the island. You just can’t leave
Ibiza without visiting Cala Compte, Las Salinas
beach or Cala Bassa, every place you visit has its
special bits. This is what makes Ibiza a magical
paradise. As for the clubs, the one I like most is
“Privilegge”, they do amazing performances there
and the music is not as boring as in the other
clubs.

4 Shopping: What would be a good souvenir to take
back with me? What's the best market to visit? Is
there anywhere I should haggle?
Another curious thing is its lizards, which are
called “Sargantanas” and they are bluish and
greenish. I’m sure it’s a good souvenir to take
home. Don’t get me wrong! I mean a key ring,
not the real animal! You can find these lizards
printed on t-shirts, cups and mugs, and there are
plenty of shops at Ibiza port where you can find
all these souvenirs.

your blog entry:
5 Food and drink: Is the local tap water drinkable? Is
there any food or drink I must try?
Don’t forget your stomachs! I definitely love
all the typical Spanish food and wine, but
Ibiza has its own local specialties. Make
sure you order some “bullit de peix” to try
some local seafood and then, try some
“hierbas” to help your digestion.

6 Conclusion: All in all, do you like the place? Would you
recommend it? What type of person would enjoy it?
The island is a bit expensive but it’s definitely
worth the visit. Many factors make the island
an enjoyable one. Don’t think it twice and just
buy your plane tickets! It won’t disappoint you.
