• One of the most popular reasons is Unbelief.
• They have created their own idols whether by
hand or mental image. They are willingly
unwilling to change their mind and are close-
minded beyond belief. They believe anything as
long as it does not involve Jesus Christ or
Christianity.
• Although their unbelief does not negate reality, it
will cloud the truth from their hearts forever.

• Some people do not think that they need a
savior.
• These people consider themselves to be
“basically good” and do not realize that they, like
all people, are sinners and can’t come to God on
their own terms.
• Those who reject Christ will never stand before
God and plead their own case on their own
merits.

• There are some people who simply don’t care.
• These people simply don’t care where they go
for eternity.
• They don’t care about God, Christ, Morals,

themselves. Apathy is rooted in selfishness.
• They are so carefree and caught up in their own
selfish world that they have no thought of
anything.

• Some reject Jesus because of what they

Some people just resist!
• Many people are simply resisting the Holy
Spirit’s attempts to convict them.
• Stephen, in the bible said “You men who

Holy Spirit...”
