These are the requirements that we must meet to get Rank A, Rank S and
Rank S+ in Resident Evil 4 remake. Remember that you need to get the times
listed in this chart or even lower to get them.
To get Rank S+, the highest in the game, you can only do it from a game
starting from scratch; no playing New Game Plus. In other words: Capcom
doesn't want the experience of getting S+ to be "cheatable" using tricks like
extra weapons such as the rocket launcher with infinite ammo.
These are all the rewards that you will obtain for completing the game in
different difficulty modes and meeting different requirements:
​ Knitted Cap, Iron Helmet, Glasses (Square) - Beat the game on
Standard Mode with an A rank.
​ Deer antlers - Complete the game on Standard Mode with an S+ rank.
​ Glasses (round), Flight Helmet, Surgical Mask - Beat the game on
Hardcore Mode.
​ Knight Armor Outfit (Ashley) - Beat the game on Hardcore Mode with
Rank A.
​ Chicken Head (Leon) - Beat the game on Hardcore Mode with Rank S+.
​ Hunk Helmet - Complete the game on Professional Mode.
​ Handcannon - Complete the game on Professional Mode without using
any extra weapons. It cannot be done in New Game Plus; it has to be in
a New Game.
​ Chicago Sweeper - Complete the game on Professional Mode with
Rank A.
​ Cat Ears - Complete the game on Professional
​ Mode with an S+ rank.
In summary, if you want to get the highest rank possible in

Resident Evil 4 remake (S+), it's time to start a new game from scratch and
complete the game very quickly, which will force us to be very clear in
advance and know what to do at all times. For this reason, We do not
recommend you try to get S + until you have at least completed the game a
