  3. 3. � Introduction � According as Researchers, Though the year 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic that we called “super year” because this is the year is posing a massive global health threat as well as extreme socioeconomic damage. Its global impact on lives and livelihoods is beyond measure as the fight against the COVID-19 is continuing, However,the social media during pandemic COVID-19 is a massive disaster in the 21st century, is not immune to the proliferation of misinformation. Besides, researchers also noted that the medical misinformation content pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic is being proliferated at a frightening rate on social media. By referring WHO, mentioned that there will be a tsunami of information on social media. Further, orated that misinformation pertaining to the global health crisis COVID-19 pandemic generates a severe risk to public health. Never before in human history has it been possible to communicate so quickly during a pandemic, social media platforms have been a key piece for the dissemination of information; however, there are multiple advantages and disadvantages that must be considered.
  4. 4. � Statement of the Problem � The overall aim of this Research is knowing The Effectiveness of Social Media as a Tool against Misinformation during Covid-19 Pandemic among Senior High Students in College of Subic Montessori � The Research must obtain data relevant data regarding the dy, through the use of surveys and the Research questions: � 1. The respondents personal information: � 1.1 Age 1.2 Gender � 1.3 Students grade level. � 2. Does the respondent find it easier to understand the information in social media? � 3. Does the social media misinformation are more exposed to influence the students during Covid-19 Pandemic ? � 4. Why Students Share Misinformation on Social Media? � 5. as a social media user how would you respond to fake news that you read online?
