7. The Deaerating Principle
Henry’s Law – Gas solubility in a solution decreases
as the partial pressure above the solution decreases.
Gas solubility versus temperature-solubility in a
solution decreases as temperature increases.
Spray valves and trays increases surface contact
of steam and water providing more rapid oxygen
removal.
