I am a strategist who loves to tell stories in creative ways. Telling stories themselves focusing only on business terms (to increase volume and profit) will not make people believe. Instead, good stories have to inspire people to believe what brands believe. “People don’t buy what you do, but they buy why you do it”—Simon Sinek: How Great Leaders Inspire Action.
To come out with good stories, strategists have to be the voice of consumers, I believe. They have to understand their problems and their needs and then provide solutions in order to make their lives better. Good stories do not come by themselves but from consumer insight.
