ARE Hands on Manila is a non-

private organization
formally established in
August 2001. It is the first
international affiliate of the
Hands on Network outside
the
US.
The goal of HOM is to
mobilize volunteers to
flexible, diverse,
sustainable measurable
and high impact service
projects of its partner
NGOs and communities.
Hands On Manila envisions a community wherepeople
share their time, talent and resources for sustainable
development.

DO IT
Hands on Manila’s
programs are community driven
and were developed using the
bottom --> up approach.
We DO NOT create programs that
our NGO and community partners
don’t need.
We empower our partners by
allowing them to develop their
own programs and activities and
we help them out through
volunteer mobilization and fund
generation. We target to develop
sustainable, measurable and high
impact programs.
