It may just well be the boost of vitamin E, a powerful anti-oxidant which flatters the skin that explains the blush and pouty lips. - Goats’ cheese and fig salad with honey dressing. In ancient Persia couples drank a honey-based brew called mead in the first month of marriage to get into the groove for wedded bliss - Asparagus and truffle risotto. Asparagus is love food from tip to toe. Brimming with minerals and vitamins to boost all the right things, it comes as no surprise that French bridegrooms were served three courses the night before their wedding - Quail blackened with Moroccan spices with pomegranate jus. The perfect fruit to ignite the inner goddess: Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty and pleasure looked towards luscious pomegranate to fuel her seductive powers - Chorizo, tomato jam and basil tart.
