Project Erection
 Supervision for erection of Boiler structure, Pressure parts, ESP and Rotating Equipments –ID, FD & PA Fans
and Air Cooled Condenser structure.
 Handling site preparations, mobilization of contractors for carrying out erection activities .
Operation & Maintenance
 Worked as a shift Engineer to take care of shift operation. Operations of the steam turbine, boiler, generator.
Mainly the control room desk operations.
 During long shut down take care of preservation of Boiler, Steam Turbine and rotating equipment’s like PA fan,
FD fan , ID fan and BFP.

Responsibilities
 Supervise the Erection of Boiler structure, Pressure Parts, ESP Structure and Rotating Equipments - ID, FD and
PA Fans & its alignment and Air cooled condenser.
From Mar’11 to Dec’12 with 2X150 MW Nagai power Project (KVK Energy) Hyedrabad as Engineer Projects
(Mechanical).
 Review the Basic and Detail drawings in BTG – Boiler P&ID’s, Turbine, Generator, Piping and other
equipment’s coming Inside the Power House Building and in BOP -Air Cooled Condenser, Plant Water system,
Coal Handling Plant and Ash Handling Plant
 Co-ordination between our Engineering team, EPC contractor, Turbine vendor & sub vendor, Air cooled
condenser vendor and our consultant for resolving engineering issues.
 Maintain project schedule, Progress and MIS Report.
 Technical follow-ups with the vendors for all related drawings.
 Follow up with vendors regarding material delivery / manufacturing Status.
 Leading Weekly Progress meetings with all departments (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and C&I) to monitor their
progress and recording it in MS Excel and circulating to everyone involved with the Project.
 Frame Monthly Progress Report for Lender’s Engineer.
 Involved in review meetings held by Top Management with vendors on Monthly Basis.

 Preparing MOMs of the meetings and circulating it to everyone involved in meeting.
 To review and make comments on draft of Monthly progress report received from EPC contractor.
 Certify the bill of exchange raised by EPC contractor and sub vendors .

 Successfully did an assignment on Water Balance Diagram to reduce the consumption of water.

Organization: NTPC, Badarpur September ‘09 – August’10
 One year industrial training in NTPC-BADARPUR, O&M of 210MW LMW turbine and 684 tons P.F. Boiler,
(under the PGDC course of NPTI(PETS) is duly recognized by AICTE and Central Electricity Authority).Also, it
authorizes the engineer to operate or undertake the maintenance of 100MW or above capacity power plant.
 Completed scheme tracing modules for various steam, water, coal cycles for the 210MW (Unit -5).
 Completed rotational on job trainings (operation & maintenance) for an entire 45 days period.
Organization: National Power Training Institute (PETS), New Delhi and Faridabad Feb’10 (20 Days)
 Completed four week training in Fossil Fuel Fired Power Plant Simulator 500MW and 210MW.
