2. Learning to Prophesy
• January 29, 2020
We will discuss biblical
bases for ways of healing
our human spirit.
3. Luke 4:18 (NKJV)
• 18 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the
brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty
to the captives And recovery of sight
to the blind, To set at liberty those
who are oppressed;
4. John 10:10
•
The thief comes only to steal and kill
and destroy; I have come that they
may have life, and have it to the full.
5. Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)
• 17 And these signs will follow those
who believe: In My name they will
cast out demons; they will speak with
new tongues; 18 they will take up
serpents; and if they drink anything
deadly, it will by no means hurt them;
they will lay hands on the sick, and
they will recover.”
6. Matthew 18:18-19 (NKJV)
• 18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever
you bind on earth will be bound in
heaven, and whatever you loose on
earth will be loosed in heaven.
• 19 “Again I say to you that if two of you
agree on earth concerning anything
that they ask, it will be done for them
by My Father in heaven.
7. Matthew 10:1 (NKJV)
• The Twelve Apostles
• 10 And when He had called His
twelve disciples to Him, He gave
them power over unclean spirits, to
cast them out, and to heal all kinds of
sickness and all kinds of disease.
8. Luke 10:19 (NKJV)
• 19 Behold, I give you the authority to
trample on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy,
and nothing shall by any means hurt
you.
9. Matthew 10:8 (NKJV)
• 8 Heal the sick,
• cleanse the lepers,
• raise the dead,
• cast out demons.
• Freely you have received, freely give.
10. Please notice that neither the Apostles
or Jesus disciples, nor we as
Christian believers could do anything
to heal ourselves or heal somebody
else through prayers, if not for the
finished sacrifice of the Lord Jesus
Christ on the cross.
11. • The authority giving to us in his
name, and the power bestowed on us
by the Holy Spirit, equip us to do the
works of God.
• Isaiah 53 and other prophecies were
fulfilled with His sacrifice.
• Thanks to God for that!
13. ORIGIN AND NATURE OF THE
HUMAN SPIRIT
• Man is made in the image and likeness of
God. Gen 1:26
• God formed man from de dust of the
ground and breath in him His breath of life,
and man became a living being. Gen 2:7
• When man dies, dust returns to the
ground, and the spirit returns to Go who
gave it, Ecclesiastes 12:7
14. • It is the spirit in a man, the breath of the
Almighty, that gives him understanding.
Job 32:8
• 14 If He should set His heart on it,
If He should gather to Himself His Spirit
and His breath, 15 All flesh would perish
together, And man would return to dust.
Job 34:14-15
15. Zechariah 12:1 (NKJV)
• 12 The [a]burden of the word of
the LORD against Israel. Thus says
the LORD, who stretches out the heavens,
lays the foundation of the earth, and forms
the spirit of man within him:
17. THE BIBLE SAYS
• Our spirit is the dwelling place of the
Holy Spirit. Romans 8:11
• He communicates with God. 1 Cor
14:2
• He worships God. John 4:23-24
• He longs for God. Isaiah 26:9

body. Luke 8:55
18. • He provides strength, comfort,
support and covering for the soul and
body. Job 32:18

truths that are received from the Holy
Spirit. 1 Cor 2:11

• He has emotions that can affect our
whole being. 1 Sam 30:6
• He can be contaminated. 2 Cor 2:7
• He can be wounded. Psalm 34:18
20. Starting from the inside out.
• If we have neglected our human spirit
it will have negative consequences
for our soul, our personality and our
body.
• We know that the devil is always
trying to destroy the work of God and
deteriorate His image in us and in our
lives.
• He will try to still our God given
authority
21. • The devil will try hard to deceive us
and plant lies to distort our true
identity in God. We need to stand in
the Word of God. Remember, our
spiritual mirror is the Word of God.
Who you really are is reflected in His
word, not in what you or others think
about you.
22. • God’s Word tells us whom really God
is, and what He is to us.
• The devil will do his best to:
• Block our communication with God so
that we cannot clearly hear His voice
giving us directions.
• Hinder our worship to god.
• Weaken our spirits.
23. • Destroy our faith in God.
• Block our God given gifting.
• So we become soulish Christians,
self centered, and our prayer/worship
become soulish.
• Finally, he will try to keeps us in
strongholds so that we cannot
become the victorious, more than
conquerors children that God has
created us to be.
24. Stronghold
• A place that has been fortified so as
to protect it against attack
• A place where a particular cause or
belief is strongly defended or upheld.
• A place where we believe we are
safe and secure, thus we decide to
stay in that place, if we venture
outside, as soon as we feel
threatened we run to our stronghold
looking for protection.
25. Psalm 18:1-3
• I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock and my
fortress and my deliverer; My God,
my [a]strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the [b]horn of my
salvation, my stronghold.
3 I will call upon the LORD, who is
worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.
26. Our God,
the Mighty One of Israel,
is a true Stronghold.
He is our sure and safe refuge
28. Example of demonic
strongholds
• Addictions: Drugs, alcoholism,
pornography, gambling, control…
• Idols: Things that we trust more than
in God, giving us a false sense on
peace and security.
• Fear: something more that we fear
God. This, because we don’t know
the love of God and we are believing
in lies of the enemy.
30. • Emotional traumas at any stage of
our lives, starting from the moment of
conception.
• Physical traumas, accidents, all kind
of abuses, emotional shocks.
• Fears and anxieties.
• Emotional control, legalism of those
in authority over us.
31. • Addictions, both physical and
spiritual.
• Unnecessary burden bearing
• Negative words spoken over a person
by those in authority.
• Destroyed dreams.
• Rejection during different stages of
life of a person.
32. • Betrayal of close ones to a person.
• No bonding with parents at early
childhood. Separation, divorce.
• Unconfessed sins.
• All type of sexual immorality and
abuse.
• Any involvement with the occult.

41.
42. Activation time.
• We pray, command and prophetically
declare that we are healed from our
infirmities.
• We can do the same for each other
who are present.
• We can do the same for someone
that is not present, as for God there
are not distances.
