Martha Brewer-Hong is a lyric coloratura soprano and voice teacher with a Master of Music in Opera Theatre from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Drake University. She has over 20 years of experience teaching private voice lessons and directing musical productions at the collegiate and K-12 levels. In addition, she founded two performing arts organizations - The Oceanside Academy of the Performing Arts and The Modern Opera Theatre Company - to provide educational opportunities in vocal performance, music theory, and fully mounted opera productions.

Students have been state winners in the Music Teachers National Association National Competition
