11. HYDRODERMABRASION
Hydrodermabrasion is an exciting NEW technology that
combines the excitement and efficacy of
Microdermabrasion with a new infusion twist and better
results! Although the technology uses a similar “closed
loop vacuum system”, instead of using loose corundum
crystals to resurface the skin, the vacuum aspiration of
Hydrodermabrasion technology gently lifts the skin and
brings it in contact with a diamond encrusted abrasive disc.

12. There are seven strategically positioned and engineered
AQUAFUSE jets in each abrasive disc that assist with the
exfoliation process, cools the skin, and hydrates the skin all
at the same time.
The results are a smooth, thoroughly
exfoliated, hydrated, youthful looking skin, without the mess
and irritation that can sometimes accompany
microdermabrasion. Hydrodermabrasion is applicable to all
skin types and can also be performed weekly or bi-monthly.

13. THE FUTURE OF EXFOLIATION
Over the last twenty some years, a number of innovations
have made their way on to the market as alternatives to
microdermabrasion. One innovation is the concept of
“crystal less” microdermabrasion. The closed loop vacuum
system is identical, however this particular kind of
handpiece, contains industrial diamond or aluminium oxide
crystals permanently embedded on to the rim of the
handpiece.

14. SERVICE TIME AND FREQUENCY
This service is successfully less invasive than
microdermabrasion due to the combination of technology
used, most manufacturers are suggesting one to two weeks
between services. The service itself can take about the
same time as traditional microdermabrasion (7-10
minutes), and is applied in a similar pattern over the face
and neck using upward motions.
