Hands get veiny, necks sag, earlobes stretch and tear leaving wrists the best place to experiment and have fun with jewelry. Try on a bunch of bracelets for size....best way to be seen and heard at any age.
1. My mom’s vintage cuff, locket & chain bracelet from Caryl for
my b’day, my goddaughter’s handmade beaded one. The brassy
golds all look great worn together.
2. Chan Luu leather and bead wrap bracelet adjusts to different
wrist sizes. (I gave Caryl one for Christmas.)
3. Silver and gold bangles by DeLatori. One on right is from St. Thomas.
4. One of a kind crystal and bead bracelet from a local jewelry boutique.
5. The classic charm bracelet. We all have at least one from high school.
The bottom more modern triple chain version has an environmental
theme.
6. Nomination was the first of the European companies to reinterpret
the classic charm bracelet. It’s a nice companion to a gold or
stainless steel watch.
7. High and low art: bottlecap charm bracelet and Chanel pearl bracelet.
I don’t wear these together.
8. Bracelets from around the world: Upper left, cuff from Bali, silk
cord and silver disk of St. Martin island, blue leopard cuff from
Africa, Moonstone bracelet from India, bottom two made in Bali,
one with gold catch by John Hardy.
9. Swarovski crystal soft bangles straight from the mother ship
in Geneva. They work well with a few gold bangles,
something else you are sure to find in your jewelty boxes.
10. Our signature 2nd Lives Club Jasper bangle with multiple silver ones.
13. Gem & Bead bracelets: classic Scarab from a former boyfriend,
Glass beaded one crafted by my daughter at summer camp with a
bit of grandpa’s watch chain added and Judith Jack marcasite and precious stones. These I
mix with gold or silver bracelets but not together.
14. Gold and silver bracelets work beautifully together:
Tiffany twist version with ball closure. Art Deco gold
link bracelet and more bangles!
