VIISTA trains students to become immigrant advocates and Department of Justice (DOJ) accredited representatives. The program leads to a Certificate in Immigration Advocacy from Villanova University’s College of Professional Studies.

Module 1 Module 2 Module 3 How to successfully work with immigrants with skillset to interview immigrants and appreciate the global migration phenomenon and immigration ecosystem Train to become a partially accredited representative with skillset to represent immigrants applying affirmatively for immigration benefits from US Citizenship and Train to become a fully accredited representative (same as partially accred rep) PLUS skillset to represent and defend immigrants against deportation in immigration courts Session 1 | Session 2 Session 3 | Session 4 Session 5 | Session 6 Units 1-7 Units 15-21 Units 29-35Units 8-14 Units 22-28 Units 36-42 VIISTA: Aspiring advocates can take any of 3 paths.
