The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) or Confederação Brasileira de Futebol in

1914 as Confederação Brasileira de Desportos (CBD), meaning Brazilian Sports
Confederation. The state federations, which organises the state championships, are
subordinated to CBF. The organization also administrates the Brazil national football

Academies – CAP CLUBE ATLÉTICO PARANAENSE
CAP is one of the most successful projects in Brazil in developing and managing football
in academies. So far, CAP has implemented more than 20 academies in Brazil where the
young footballers receive all the lessons based on ‘Atletico’s’ beliefs of development is

6. The first goal project
On 15th October2003, the goal Bureau introduced a project to build a training centre for
football coaches trying to get involvement even higher in Brazil, run by the Brazilian FA.
The second goal project
This development programme was launched for the Brazilian association to help train and

and supported by the Goal Foundation.

EBF (Escola Brasileira de Futebol) is a recognised football association to help players to turn
professional it was created after an agreement between CBF and FIFA, by the GOAL
Project and the Brazilian School of Football. Many different types of people involved in
football are helped here to get into and involved with football, these include coaches,
physios, referees and football clubs.
The main objectives of Escola Brasileira de Futebol are to modernise and technically
enable the Brazilian football, through courses and lectures.
EBF is an excellence centre of football, gathering factors such as research for the
qualification of professionals linked to the area and of professionals from various sectors
around the sport.
Migration from Brazil
Migration does affect one of the best footballing nations in the world; in there leagues
there are barely any Brazilians who play in their own country. This does affect the
interests of the people in Brazil as they have no “superstars” that they can follow week in
