Responsible for the development and management of an ISO 9001:2000 Certified and TS 16949
Compliant Quality System for a Tier III automotive supply manufacturer. Industrial Textiles is a
premier supplier of belt and hose cord to the worlds’ largest automakers as well as motorcycle and
industrial markets. Includes design level knowledge of high tech polymer cordage using Carbon
Fiber, Kevlar, Fiberglass, PET, Multiplex, PBT, PEEK and PEN yarns. Support plant size of 50
employees with 5 people under my supervision. Processes include multiple size ring twisting, large
scale 2 for 1 twisting and hose yarn rewind. Primary organizational responsibility for conversion of
quality system to conform with ISO 9001:2000 and eventual conversion to ISO 9001:2008. This
includes the implementation of an electronic Document Control and Corrective Action management

Directly responsible for the operations of a high growth, $85M capital medical equipment
distributor. This entailed all responsibilities, including P&L, for the purchasing, receiving,
biomedical services, laser services and shipping departments, a 90,000 ft2
warehousing facility and
a staff of 19 people. Developed process controls and procedural guidelines to standardize work
and streamline departmental operation and cooperation. Designed, implemented and trained on
the operational component of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which
tremendously improved overall operational efficiency and scalability while providing inventory
control accuracy and job cost accounting. Provided inventory, facilities, supply chain, quality
control and contract negotiation expertise to continually increase efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities included the purchasing of over 8000 parts for the manufacture of floor
maintenance equipment. Instrumental in the initiation of a 'Just In Time' program, which together
with M.R.P., both increased production and lowered inventories to a manageable level as well as
increasing cooperative vendor relations. Initiated vendor quality program to ensure vendor integrity
as well as lower quality control responsibilities for our staff. This program combined the use of
S.P.C. and vendor audits and significantly increased quality while lowering rejects and defects.

Responsibilities included the translation of documents from German to English and vice versa.
Worked closely with American and German officials as well as with those of other western
European nations. Projects centered on the re-unification treaties between the former East and
