- For many businesses, email communication is the PRIMARY vehicle for employee communication and collaboration, so anything that causes email to not work properly or not be up and running all the time negatively impacts employee productivity and becomes a major headache for the business owner and the IT team. And more employees are expecting company email to operate seamlessly on their personal smartphones and other devices. No IT manager wants to get the late night calls from their CEO wondering why his or her email isn’t working. Today’s business owner also wants to have an email that doesn’t require capital expenditures or consume lots of operating expenses or IT staff resources.to mange the hardware, software and security of their email. Add to this the federal compliance requirements and running an email service on an in-house basis can easily become an unwanted burden. Some experts suggest that Email might be the best and easiest application for businesses to move to the Cloud.
