Publisher. Convert Data for systemconversion from ADP to Ulti Pro HRIS. Work on Conversion
from Lawson to SAP. Work on developing an MDR/DG strategy for all corporate systems.
Current Oracle environment is 10.2.0.3 running on Itanium hardware HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64 (ta).
We are in the process of moving it to 11G on a VM Linux server. I am going through the cron and
shell scripts now to ensure they will run in the new environment.
Primary developer and support person for our Oracle systems that gathers all the data from the
stores (over 1100 locations), loads it into Oracle, cleanses the data via PL/SQL packages,
generates reports, emails issues, and support day to day operations of the enterprise. Currently
supporting 194K lines of back end PL/SQL code in this database. I was the developer responsible
for the conversion of payroll from ADP to Ulti-Pro. ETL all the data, as well as adjusted all the
PL/SQL packages,Forms, and Reports to be utilized in the new data feeds.
We are currently working on moving our financial systemfrom Lawson to SAP. I am the
developer creating new interface table structures to support new data feeds and transactions. Also
2. redoing all packages that currently interface with Lawson via DBLINKS to consume data from an
Enterprise Data Store. With the implementation of a formalized MasterData Solution, I will be
going to into several Oracle Forms and limiting the ability of various fields to be updated or
inserted due to feeds from MDS taking over this function.
Responsible for the upgrading of our forms and reports from 6i to 11g so that the current
technology stackcan move the reports and forms to Linux VM
Wrote and supported the direct html generation from oracle for our portal reporting. This is
utilizing the OWA cartridge, for generation of HTML/JavaScript dynamically from PL/SQL code.
Implemented the use of UTL_SMTP inside of error routines in the packages, so that when certain
errors occur, they are not only logged, but groups are notified that an action needs to occur.
Started the BIEE/BI-Publisher – Oracle Data Warehouse development here at Bloomin Brands,
and wrote the first Dashboards that displayed KPIs, and e-mail reports on schedule.
Support all of the back end work for the .NET and Java developers, working with them to deliver
the data that they need in the best possible manner.
Act as mentor to the otherdevelopers and DBAs, helping them to troubleshoot, optimize, and tune
their code.
05/04 to 05/07 – Nevamar/ Panolam - Hampton, SC
Senior Programmer / Analyst,Support Oracle Applications 11.03: WIP, Inventory,OM Modules
Deployed PCs to office staff and manufacturing floor
Provided support on legacy systems until replacement systems had been rolled out.
Created and updated over 400 bolt on Forms and Reports to support the business in Oracle Forms,
Oracle Reports and Toad. Helped facilitate transition to PeopleSoft 8.43
Several of the updates I performed on the reports were to move from client server to server based
functions and procedure calls in PL/SQL. Because the data center was moved from Hampton to
MD., once the reports had to go over the WAN their generation time became painful. In several
cases I was able to take reports that were taking up to 30 minutes to run, and got them to run in
less than 2 minutes.
Created several routines that batch run reports and then e-mail the resulting PDF files to users on a
scheduled basis.
Updated userinterfaces so that users could enter multiple WIP transactions via 1 screen vs 1screen
per transaction. In the extreme case of the Press, it went from 30 transactions, then 30 report
entries, to one screen that created the 30 transactions, auto adjusted the WIP Entity and created the
shop floor paperwork, with the only thing the press operatordoing was scanning the jobs and
validating the quantities. Took the process of doing their transactions from 30-40 minutes down to
less than 5.
Create and maintain PL/SQL scripts for interfaces into Lawson and PeopleSoft
Also while there I served on several task forces to improve throughput of the plant and to reduce
scrap. Because of recommendations that were made, we were able to reduce scrap from 14% to
4.5%.
04/01 to 05/04 – Fluor

Started Oracle Development Environment –
When I started with Eclipse, there was no enterprise database development.I evaluated
various RDBMS solutions and settled on Oracle. I installed it on Solaris, then migrated to
DEC Unix.
After creating the MGA (Master group administrator for Medical Saving Accounts)on
Oracle, (28K lines of code written in PL/SQL that used the Oracle Web Agent to fire
stored procedures on the Oracle Database), I then got the budget to hire staff for DBA,
Unix Admin, and other developers.
Created Web Based Database Application for Time/ Fortis
28K lines of Code written in PL/SQL. This application tracks medical claims and medical
savings account deposits and pays them. It interfaces with 3 legacy systems at
Time/Fortis, and has a web based (netscape)front end for the customer service
representatives,and the master administrator.
Wrote first 2 versions of the RealMed Payment Center

packages, procedures and functions. This is a real-time medical claim resolution system,
checks eligibility, adjudicates claims, reports results back to legacy systems at ins urance
company, prints EOB, and initiates ACH payments to health care providers. Has turned
healthcare claims into Credit Card Like transactions, shrinking resolution time from 30-
45 days to 2 minutes.

A call tracking systemthat reports on operators, call types, call status, call lengths, call
times, and logs comments from operators. Was used by TransCom to contact and log care
providers for attending presentations on the RealMed system. After creating a secure
Router to Router Channel between Transcomand RealMed, the Transcom operators only
had to point their web browser to a server at realmed to log in and use the system. On the
realmed side, we had real-time statistics on calls made, and reservations for each
presentation.(Oracle Back end, utilizing PL/SQL stored procedures and packages, with
OWA in middle tier)
Director of Y2K Compliance Project:
Wrote a Web based application for complete Hardware, software asset tracking. Gather
