The Fastmind wanted to propel organic user growth while keeping their existing players
even more engaged with their app. The Fastmind’s technical team found a way to
promote their app for free on Twitter while also introducing unique content that feels
natural to their app’s experience through a solution known as Twitter Kit. Using Twitter
Kit, people can compose a Tweet within Apensar without navigating away from the app,
as seen in two key points in the game: players can Tweet at friends for help on a
challenging puzzle (shown in the image below) or earn extra coins just for Tweeting their
progress. Since integrating Twitter Kit, The Fastmind has seen 60+ MM social
engagements and a strong correlation between social networking and growth in
downloads.

As The Fastmind continues to grow its audience base,
monetization becomes an increasingly high priority. Before
switching to MoPub, The Fastmind had worked with other
monetization platforms to generate ad revenue for their app, but
were experiencing low fill rates in Latin America, where they have
the most traffic. The company wanted to not only increase fill rates
and revenue, but also streamline the workflow for their ad
operations team. They turned to MoPub because they saw
opportunity to maximize ad revenue by running ads from three
global ad sources, all managed within a single interface: direct
advertisers, ad network partners, and thousands of advertisers
from MoPub Marketplace. After making the switch, the team saw a
10%+ lift in fill rate, 4% higher CPMs, and growth in overall ad

marketing messages geared to their audience. As part of their
integration with Fabric, The Fastmind’s technical team gets access
to Apensar’s critical performance metrics through Fabric’s mobile
app analytics dashboard, Answers. Simply by installing the
Answers Kit, The Fastmind can quickly gather trends and
information about who is using their app. The dashboard lets the
team monitor the behavior of new and existing users in real time
when they send push notifications or ship new features, so they
can quickly identify issues as they arise and iterate faster to
improve their performance. In two months, the team saw retention
rates improve by 6%.
