Job Description / Responsibility:
To control product technical development effectively & efficiently, by managing &
supervising the team to execute technical sample development, written sample re-
views, technical communications etc., and discern any pattern discrepancies (when
necessary), so that company quality standards are met, claim ratio is minimized and
delivery performance is improved.
To review technicians for checking patterns/specification and construction, identi-
fying and resolving mass production impracticalities in appropriately timely man-
ner, and to make final decision on quality according to company standards & re-
quirements.
To supervise technicians in handling of sample evaluation and production approval
by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, etc., and giving
comments to vendors for production.
To work closely with company vendors and merchandising teams by identifying
and resolving potential and/or existing issues on sampling, fitting and production
quality , so as to minimize the possibilities of any future claims and enhance prod-
uct quality.
To serve as a consultant on technical issues and recommend corrective actions to
all relevant parties.
To evaluate existing and/or new vendors on various performance tracking aspects
and to recommend corrective actions and/or training, so as to ensure that all re-
quired standards are met.
To maximize team productivity and capabilities by setting directions & goals,
