ABSTRACT/PURPOSE
 Evaluate traditional and multimedia method of
teaching .
 Teaching components : sender and receiver
 Any communication that delivers knowledge from
sender to receiver without destroying the objective
of teaching is innovative method .
 Benefits of innovative methods :
a)Improve Learning process
b)Strengthen governance
c)Achieve human development goal
Pre-technology education context, the teacher is the
sender or the source.
The educational material is the information or
message.
The student is the receiver of the information.
The delivery medium
chalk-and- talk” method
overhead projector (OHP) transparencies.
In such a lecture students assume a purely passive
role and their concentration fades off after 15-20
minutes.
A famous Chinese proverb:- “A THOUSAND TEACHERS
, A THOUSAND METHODS “
ANALYSIS OF TRADITIONAL METHOD OF
TEACHING
LIMITATIONS
 Teaching in classroom using chalk and talk is “one
way flow” of information.
 Teachers often continuously talk for an hour without
knowing students response and feedback.
 The material presented is only based on lecturer notes
and textbooks.
 There is insufficient interaction with students in
classroom.
 More emphasis has been given on theory without any
practical and real life time situations.
 Learning from memorization but not understanding.

It shows the part where more effort is
to be taken .
Distributional efforts among students
can also be done .

Conclusion
On the basis of the above research and analysis, it can be concluded that pedagogy
with the help of other approaches which includes multimedia approach, teaching with
intermittent humorous breaks, mind map, feedback approach etc.. results in effective
performance with respect to dynamic environment.
