Acerca de
Presentations given as member of the Berkeley Bioinformatics Open-Source Projects (BBOP) in the Joint Genome Institute (JGI) at LBL, where I provide evolutionary and biologically relevant perspectives to the development of genome annotation editing tools.
At the time I was part of the development teams for Web Apollo - a web-based annotation editor designed to support community-based curation of genomes - and the Gene Ontology Consortium. I co-lead the Community Curation Group within the global initiative to sequence and annotate the genomes of 5,000 arthropods (i5K Initiative), and I was a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Biocuration (ISB).
