We know that an adjective is a word that describes or tells more
about a noun than we knew before. An adverb, of course,
modifies a verb and tells how or when an action occurred.
In Spanish, many adverbs are formed by simply adding the
suffix -mente to an adjective. This suffix is the equivalent to
the English ending -ly.
