A: 7 Muda:
1. Transportation- vans are available for pick and drop of workers for both male and
female. These vans are also used to deliver the product (i.e. gloves)
2. Inventory- industry do not have any extra machines but they have extra material like
needles and nuts etc. If any small damage occur to machine it can be fixed by a worker
immediately but if there is a major problem in machine then it takes 1 or 2 days to fix it.
3. Motion- There is no unnecessary movement of people and equipment in industry.
4. Waiting- Process of making of a dozen gloves complete in 25-30 mints but the industry
run for 24 hours, there is no resting times for workers but they have made shifts so every
worker work according to his/her shifts.
5. Over- processing- They have female workers for rechecking the gloves if there is defect
in any model then it is rejected and go for processing again.
6. Over- production- if the industry have a large order of gloves then they do over
production otherwise not.
7. Defects- if any defects occur it send back to machine for further processing.

C. Cost Reduction:
The Industry reduce costs by purchasing yarn of cheapest price. Industry can only earn profit by
purchasing yarn at lower prices because all the other material is manufactured in industry.
Observation:
We have observed that Factory do not have extra worker and extra machinery. So according to
our point of view if by chance any error occur in machinery they have at this time so they have
the alternative of this and can use that extra machine stored already without wasting their
precious time.
Solution: we can control over cutting. We can control on time wasting.
