2. Notable Projects
Comcast Inova (AE Design, 2016-2017)
*Designed the power plan for a large office building along with a team of senior engineers in
compliance with NEC and IECC codes.
*Carried out the mechanical coordination and aided in lighting and audio visual controls for the
whole building.
Reading Hospital System Upgrade Recommendation (Ballinger, 2014)
*Modelled the complete Reading Hospital grid system into SKM Powertools with all relevant
equipment and carried out various simulations including breaker coordination, arc flash analysis,
demand load analysis, etc.
*Provided recommendations of upgrades to senior engineers which was later implemented into the
Reading Hospital grid.
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Ballinger, 2014)
*Designed the power and lighting plans for the hospital building alongside a team of senior engineers
in compliance with NEC and IECC codes.
*Created the basic one-line diagram for the whole system and provided sizing recommendations.
Senior Design: Static Electricity Harvester for MEMS Devices (Drexel, 2015)
*Designed and built a microgenerator based on triboelectricity (static electricity) in a team of five.
*Designed the electricity harvesting system to successfully generate power to light up a chain of LEDs.
*Lead the theoretical and quantitative verification method for the triboelectric generator harvesting circuit.
Power System Upgrade Proposal (Drexel, 2015)
*Modelled a small power grid system with three generators and multiple load locations in Matlab.
*Simulated outages at multiple locations and redesigned multiple iterations of the grid to nullify the effects of
the outages.
*Proposed a feasible method to upgrade the grid line to prevent future issues due to outages.
Power Supply at Remote Locations through Renewable Energy (Drexel, 2014)
*Designed and proposed a small scale power system for a remote location in Africa using HOMER.
*Successfully simulated the generation of the power for the facility. However, project deemed unfeasible due
to high costs.
Satellite Link Budget Analysis (CTU, 2015)
*Simulated the various losses that a communications channel might experience when transmitting information
from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Dhaka, Bangladesh.
*Provided the feasibility analysis of such a communications channel.
Encoding Scheme Simulation (CTU, 2016)
*Simulated Viterbi algorithm, BCH and Reed-Solomon codes to upgrade the transmission of a channel.
*Compared the schemes and provided recommended upgrades to the existing transmission system
Integrated Circuit Recommendation for “Gordy’s Glove” (CTU, 2016)
*Modelled different inverter circuits based on PSpice modelling tool to implement product specific qualities
into the circuit.
*Simulated second order effects in FET technologies to provide a highly accurate response to noise margin,
power consumption, clock speed, etc.
