History
• Founded in 1930
• By Harland sanders founder in Kentucky of United state
• Well known for fried chicken which is their specialty
• Is the world largest and most well known for chicken restaurant.
Every day, more than 12 million customers are served by KFC
restaurants in 109 countries and territories around the world
• KFC operate more than 5,200 restaurants in the united states and
more than 15,000 around the world
6. KFC In Pakistan:
In 1997, KFC started work in Pakistan
First branch in Gulsha-e-Iqbal, in karachi
In 1999 opened another branch in Rawalpindi
In August 2002 in Islamabad
Currently has 69 branches operating in 19 major cities.
7. Task Environment
1. Customer Force:
KFC always try to convince their customers by providing
good quality of good and service.
2. Suppliers Force:
K & N Products provide KFC raw material, KFC receives
around 95% of their items.
3. Competitors Force:
Biggest competitors of KFC in Pakistan are ( McDonalds,
Nandos, AFC,HFC and etc )

Cupola Dubai based company who is directly operating
KFC in Pakistan since 1999
Cupola is a Dubai based multinational company involved
in several business in many countries including, oil gas
exploration, plastic cards and food franchising.
9. General Environment
1. Political Force:
Political force include government policies as being
foreign company you must follow and obey all the rules
and regulation of country.
Must provide 100% Halal food
Contributes to the local sales up to 95%
10. 2. Economical Factors:
Economic factor include income level of the people,
that whom KFC should target in the market. This force
decides which class should KFC is going to target in the
early time when KFC entered in Pakistan they were more
focused on upper class.
But then they changed their strategy and by introducing
some different type of meals and new offers through
which KFC was able to target middle-class people also .
11. KFC is paying direct taxes to Pakistan, Pakistan
government receives about Rs.10 million per month
from KFC.
95% of all food and packing material in KFC procured
locally from Pakistan
Per month KFC purchase more than Rs.35 million of
material from Pakistani local companies
And plays important role in development of Pakistan.
These are all Economical Force…
12. 3. Socio-Cultural Force:
Culture, beliefs, behaviors are the problem faced by many
multinational companies while to enter in new market.
For solving these problem KFC hire all the employees of
local areas from Pakistan now its easy from them to deal
with this problem
Beliefs are also problem faced by KFC in Pakistan because
its an Islamic country. So there providing 100% halal foods

Technology is very important in order to compete with
the competitors which include peace of change.
Peace of change means to introduce new technology
and machinery while its needed
Org have an eye on their competitors
KFC and McDonald’s has same cooking machinery but
KFC has good delivery system by the help of new
technology and machineries, their delivering quickly.
