Impact of COVID-19  IT IS UNPRECEDENTED TIME , EVERYONE IS CONCERNED ABOUT COVID-19 PANDEMIC  VIRUS HAS SPREAD OVER 200 COUNTRIES ( >4 MILLION PEOPLE INFECTED).  BUT A FAR MORE SEVERE AND LONG-LASTING RIPPLE EFFECT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC WILL BE ON THE ECONOMY.  THERE HAVE BEEN WARNINGS ALREADY ABOUT THE NEGATIVE COVID-19 IMPACT ON INDUSTRIES. WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETELY GRASP THE ENORMITY OF THIS YET, BUT THE SIGNS ARE ALREADY THERE. 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY  COVID-19 HAS AFFECTED MOST OF THE COMPANIES IN INDIA DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.  IT LED TO ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY AND DISRUPTED LIFE.  DUE TO LOCKDOWN, THERE IS A MASSIVE LOSS IN OPPORTUNITY FOR MANY COMPANY WHO HAVE INTERNATIONAL DEALERS.  CANCELLATIONS OF TECH CONFERENCES.( LOSS OF US $1 BILLION)

Textile industry  TEXTILE AND APPAREL INDUSTRY HAS BEEN MAJORLY AFFECTED BY THIS COVID-19 PANDEMIC.  IT LED TO DECELERATE THE GROWTH PROJECTION OF THE TEXTILE AND APPAREL INDUSTRY IN INDIA  IT WAS PROJECTED TO GROW AT A CAGR OF ~12% TO REACH USD 220 BILLION (INR 16,637 BILLION) BY 2025-26(AS PER THE DATA RELEASED BY THE MINISTRY OF TEXTILES)
  5. CONTD..  it is expected that the domestic market is seen shrinking by around 28%-30% to USD 61 billion (INR 4,163 billion).  led by the decline in the sales mostly in the Q1 for the current financial year ending 20-21.

Tourism sector:  The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the tourism industry.  It is severely affected amid Coronavirus crisis and will also be rearmost one to behold resumption of activities. Lockdown has affected inflow of tourists dealing a crippling blow to the tourism and hospitality

Impact on Aviation INDUSTRY  The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the aviation industry.  reductions in passenger numbers have resulted in flights being cancelled or planes flying empty between airports.  Aviation companies are not even in the position to refund their customer those who had booked flights were cancelled due to lockdown

AGRICULTURE  Agriculture is the far most one and is backbone of any economy.  An average of about one farmer is committing suicide for every 30minutes due to debt.  Just a short span of the pandemic will leave an everlasting effect on the agricultural sector.  Today situation of agriculture has become so worse than earlier that shortage of:-  Reduction in production.  Moreover, the closure of restaurants and street food outlets removes the market ingredients for all these agriculturists. harvest labor, improper transport facilities were added as special hardships to farmer society

ELECTRONIC INDUSTRY  The spread of coronavirus have pushed down the production and sale of electronic goods and the supply chain is also interrupted.  India is a major importer of electronics.  Shortage of goods.  Great hike in rates of electronic goods (work from home).  The impact on supply-side of the market is currently minimum.  The sales for products such as televisions, ACs, refrigerators, and other white goods has reduced .

EDUCATION  COVID-19 also had a greater impact over students.  Not even a single school or an institute is open for students to attend.  Cancellation of exams.  Even in banking sector, investments and transactions are totally on hold.  Even some pharma industries are on their way in work increasing their pace they are also on throw back.  Paper industry also affected very badly as the usage of paper has declined to a maximum extent due to closure of various government and social institutions.
  12. TRANSPORT  Transportation sector has been one of the primary victims of COVID-19. From rickshaw pullers to airlines, all have been affected economically by the pandemic  Railways is another important corner which is at most affected.  Roadways also stopped working.  India's overall energy demand fell by 11% .  Even though the fall in passenger transport demand is pushed by social distancing restrictions, COVID-19 may have a long-term effect on people's travel behavior.  Fall in accident rate  Reduction in air pollution level.
  13. Conclusion  Last but not the least two divisions of society are being affected to the superlative stage during this pandemic. They are poor and middle-class. These sections are now workless and some middle class of the elderly may be nil at their bank balance leading them to starvation.  In such pathetic situations some people are helping the people by donating groceries etc. On behalf, we salute to those hands that are lending forward to feed the empty stomachs of needy and poor in such difficult situations, for their humanistic deeds.  Reduced vehicular activity has played an important part in reducing pollution, and hence a move towards more efficient public mode of transportation needs to be made .Electric buses should be poured in and metro connectivity should be enhanced with last-mile connectivity.
