- 2. NHS Citizen data halo • There are three types of data in NHS Citizen: • Data created within NHS Citizen • Data created by NHS Citizens in other places • Related data • The data halo is that third type of data
- 3. What data are we talking about? • NHS Citizen is designed to be as open as possible • That means we are looking for people and data which are on the edges of the system and inviting it in • Just two examples: • Health benchmarking data • Social media content

A high-level profile of Bristol At risk (35.3%) Caution (30.5%) Multiple unhealthy behaviours - health at risk in the future Health and wellbeing generally good – some behaviours may result in ailments High rates of smoking Lower levels of smoking Some alcohol concerns Alcohol consumption can exceed recommended limits Mental wellbeing below average (unemployment, debt & dissatisfaction) Mental wellbeing slightly higher than average Obesity above average Obesity slightly above average
