At SIGGRAPH, CEO Jensen Huang announced Turing,
NVIDIA’s eighth-generation GPU architecture, which
features new RT Cores to accelerate ray tracing and new
Tensor Cores for AI inferencing. Together for the first
time, Huang explained, they make real-time ray tracing
possible.
