1. WTF!? Marketing’s
Web Strategy
Web Strategy is the art of telling your story online.
The simplest way to think about it is to use Seth
Godin’s hierarchy of success. Don’t worry - it’s
nowhere near as “snake-oil” as it sounds.
2. The Hierarchy of
Success
Attitude
Approach
Goals
Strategy
Tactics
Execution
3. Attitude
Attitude refers to Who You Are and
What You Believe In.
Defining your Attitude shapes every
step to follow.
4. Approach
Approach defines the tools you use and
how you say what you want to say.
Are you a great speaker? Use vlogs or
podcasts.
Are you a great writer? Use a Blog.
5. Goals
Your goals should reflect your Attitude
and Approach.
SMART - specific, measurable,
achievable, realistic, and timely.
Want to teach and have great speaking
skills? Set a goal to become a leading
mind with your videos.
6. Strategy
Strategy defines the overarching steps
you need to take to achieve your goals.
Consistency is key - your strategy
should reflect your Attitude and
Approach.
If it doesn’t, you’re seen as inauthentic.
7. Tactics
Tactics are “sectioned”, executable parts
of your Strategy.
Tactics define specific actions you can
take.
Tactics make or break your business.
8. Execution
Execution is going out and getting it
done, measuring the results, and
(possibly) changing up your plan.
Do work, son.
Make it so.
Most people start here (and fail).
9. Be a Digital Gunslinger
Practice:
Authenticity Humility
Credibility Transparency
Integrity Accountability
Honesty Consistency
Because it makes you (and your business) HUMAN.

plan that suits your business. There’s a reason my
friends don’t play Risk with me anymore.
