EDUCATION
Began my studies at Åbo Akademi University, Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, during
the autumn of 2005 from which I graduated in 2015 majoring in process systems and
technology, with a minor in economics.
My Bachelors thesis was written 2008-2009 during my year abroad at Osaka University, under
the headline ”LED's – Origin, working principles and future”.
My Masters thesis was written 2014-2015 for SSAB Ruukki under the headline “Heatrecycling
from Hotstove waste gas”
Highschool diploma from Jakobstads Gymnasium, 2004.
WORKEXPERIENCE
Full time employment:
Worked as a thermal designer for GaV-group in Paimio, Finland for approximately two
years. At GaV-group my duties included thermal design of shell & tube heat exchangers,
sales of said equipment as well as customer service and the maintainance of customer
relations. The working relationship wit GaV-group was concluded of my own volition, in
order to finish my studies at Åbo Akademi University.
Consultant:
After my initial contract with GaV-group expired I resumed my work for them as a
consultant. This secondary contract lasted for 8 months on an as-needed basis, during this
time my duties were limited to thermal design only. The contract was concluded due to a
reform of GaV-groups target market areas, after which my services were no longer
needed.
Summerjobs 2006 - 2008 and 2010 - 2011
Worked as a blue collar worker for UPM-Kymmene Oyj in Pietarsaari, Finland in
mechanical maintenance for the debarking section of the plant. The last two summers I
returned to the same section as supervisor.
During my studies, starting back during highschool I have also held a number of odd jobs such as
lifeguard at Fanta Sea water park, worked as a cashier for the fast-food restaurant Korvgörans
as well as worked as a cleaner for the company Rosenbergs Städ & Mattvätt. During my
university studies I have also worked as an actor for Tehdasteatteri.

MILITARY SERVICE
Did my military service 2004-2005 at Dragsvik brigade. Completed my officers training in
Hamina, and was dismissed as a Second Lieutenant and platoonleader of a heavy mortar platoon.
HOBBIES
Weighttraining and jogging 1-2 times per week, Acorbatics/Pair-acrobatics 4-5 times per week.
During summers I enjoy riding my motorcycle and training outdoors.
