- The nonprofit arts and culture industry generated $130.3 million in total economic activity in 2015, including $93.6 million in organizational expenditures and $36.7 million in event-related audience spending.
- The city of Chapel Hill accounted for most of the economic impact at $117 million, followed by Carrboro at $7.7 million and Hillsborough at $5.6 million.
