5. Introduction
Agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. This project concern with provide
assistance to farmer regarding different parts such as cropping, harvesting, fertilizer etc.
By this user can learn new technology of agriculture and can use their work. One of the
valuable tools for farmers is the soil analysis. Soil analysis help determine the inputs
needed for efficient and economical production. Most soils have a large supply of
nutrients. However, when soils are continually used for growing, nutrients are removed
whenever the crop is harvested. Low nutrition leads to multiple plant disorders and low
yield. For better crop yield, the nutrients must be restored to the soil. Hence the farmers
must add nutrients to the soil in right proportion. Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P) and
Potassium (K) are the major nutrients. The application of fertilizer to meet the
requirements of the crop by taking advantage of the nutrients already present in the soil is
ensured by a proper soil test.

9. Proposed Project Concept
Help the farmers to get accurate information about crops and fertilizers who conduct
events in villages. The interface to the teams to store their data in order to conduct
awareness events efficiently. The farmer will able to prepare schedule for the events,
data needed in the events like videos& Images regarding crops, PowerPoint
presentation on seasonal crops and their related documents. Before going to any
program in certain village they can be able to cross check the stuff needed in that
event at any point of time. So our project is suggested as a web application because
so many teams around the India can be able to work on this area.
10. Project Functional Requirements
• Collecting N.P.K Values:
When farmer want to analysing the
fertility of soil then he must insert
N.P.K value form the Soil testing
report.
• Processing on data:
After collecting the N.P.K data from
farmer the web application must
provides the correct analysis of soil.
11. Software Requirements:
• Platform - windows 7 and windows10 or linux
• Language - php version 7.1,Laravel framework
• Database - My Sql version 7.1
• IDE/Tool - sublime text 3/ Dreamweaver CS6
12. Hardware Requirements:
• Processor PentiumIV
• RAM - 1 GB min. , 2 GB Recommended
• Hard Disk - 20GB min. , 40 GB Recommended
• Keyboard - Standard 102 key
• Mouse
16. Advantages & Disadvantages
Advantages:
1) More benefit in less expense.
2) Easy to understood.
3) Helps to improve fertility of soil.
4) Crop disease detection .
Disadvantages:
1) Platform dependent
2) Required sufficient knowledge.
3) Required network connection.
17. Applications
• For farmers Decision Making which crop they can produce in their land.
• Farmers can improve their Crop Quality and Quantity.
• Farmer can communicate with guide for farming.
• Farmer can make good crops by using less fertilizer.
• People will get good vegetables made from less Manure/Fertilizer.
