WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY After a short meditation session, guests had the opportunity to listen to an incredible keynote speaker, hear successful businesswomen suggest strategies to ensure mental wellness in the workplace, and participate in their choice of two breakout sessions, all focused on tactics for improving mental wellness.
  3. 3. “It’s okay to feel okay; it’s okay to ask a colleague if they are okay…”
  4. 4. “Having a meditation practice is a wonderful way to empower yourself in your career.”
  5. 5. “A problem shared is a problem cut in half.”
  6. 6. OCHWW WLPN CO-CHAIRS Our WLPN’s (Women’s Leadership Professional Network) Ashli Sherman and Christine Molbury were in attendance and excited to spread the learnings with the wider network. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to pause normal activities, connect with other OCHWW and WPP colleagues, and be inspired by the brave and talented women that shared their perspectives.” ―Christine Molbury
  7. 7. PRACTICE THANKFULNESS TO IMPROVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS Partnering with Kim McDonnell and Ellie Cobb from the Thankful organization, OCHWW’s Johanna Skilling led a breakout session on embracing thankfulness as a tool to improve your overall health and well-being.
  8. 8. INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS Attendees were given the opportunity to choose two workshops to attend during the event. Topics included: • The Science of Happiness • Transforming the Workplace for the “NOW” Generation • Thriving as a Working Mother • Managing Stress in the Workplace • Positive Psychology and the Theory of Well-Being
  9. 9. THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS Stella Grizont coaches on Positive Psychology and the Theory of Well-Being and explains that the main drivers of human flourishing are: 1. Positive Emotion 2. Engagement 3. Relationships 4. Sense of Meaning 5. Achievement
