Method 1: Insert Image
Step 1: Go to INSERT TAB.
Step 2: Click the insert PICTURE Button ( )
Then browse for the picture that you
want as your background.
Step 3: Stretch the image inserted until it covers
the entire slide of your PowerPoint.
To add text on your slide, click the insert TEXT BOX Button ( )

Step 1: Go to DESIGN TAB
Step 2: Click the FORMAT BACKGROUND

Use bright colors like RED if you want to emphasize something on your presentation.
Contrast of colors is also important in making your presentation, to make it more readable for your viewers.
The combination of these colors will make your presentation messy.
Using of several colors on your presentation will sometimes lead to a messy one. Like having colors who doesn’t compliment each other will greatly affect the presentability and impact of your presentation.
Less text is better, because sometimes having so much text on the screen will make your presentation boring, though on some cases we can’t avoid it but if possible consider using images instead of words.
