Koprol was Indonesia's answer to American startup Foursquare. Customised for Indonesia's then-ubiquitious Blackberries and featuring a conversational, mobile-first audience. Despite acquisition by Yahoo, the startu's promising future (including overseas expansion) of the startup never fully eventuated. An old presentation of mine from 2011.
