among 9 beneficiary universities of Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan and Russia,
with the support of 5 European universities.

Disciplinary and geographical extension of the existing
Masters in Grenoble and in Bishkek (Double Degree in
Computer Science and Social Sciences):
to engineering sciences and exact sciences,
to Russian, Kazakh and Kyrgyz Universities.
Development of necessary conditions to set up Double
Diploma.
National and international professionalization of the Master’s
degree: harmonization of concepts between ERAMIS
network partners.

4. Unusual master: not a specialization of the Bachelor’s
domain
Aims to provide an additional professional specialization in
computer sciences
Open to students with a Bachelor degree in another field
than computer sciences
◦ students of exact sciences and engineering science
◦ students of human and social sciences
Master’s degree program ISC is created on the basis of two
masters:
◦ At Université Pierre Mendès France, Grenoble (created in 1985)
◦ At Kirghize National University, Bishkek (created in 2007)

• General results
• Depending on the country, the number of interested students vary from 40% to 65%
• Industrial companies need IT/CS specialists. Therefore Informatics as a second
competence makes sense.
• Industrial companies need different kinds of IT/CS specialists such as web developers,
software engineers, network administrators etc. depending on the geographic location.
• Industrial companies need not only “pure” IT/CS specialists
→ Common modules for generic competences and particular
modules for specific competences.
